Coronavirus Do’s and Don’ts:
DO’S | DON’TS |
Wash your hands with soap & water and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer, especially after using restrooms. Don’t just wash the palms and backs, but get in the crevices of the fingers. Be thorough. | Avoid spending time in large groups. It makes sense to stay out of the middle of congested public transit vehicles. |
The infection can spread through bodily wastes, if hands are not cleaned appropriately, hence avoid using public restrooms | Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, and then dispose it in the trash. Never use your hands
|
Be careful while in elevator. The air quality worsens with no ventilation. Maintain safe distance. | Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. If you see redness/rashes in the eyes, kindly report to the nearest doctor immediately |
If you have cough with fever (100.4 F or above), contact your nearest doctor and remain indoors until the fever subsides | Do not stand there if someone coughs near you; turn away if possible. |
Wash your hands after coming in contact with animals, after visiting farms, markets, zoos and agricultural places. | Avoid close contact with people who are sick. |
If you sense an infection nearby, be equipped with protective eyewear and surgical mask |
